General Terms and conditions Kraamcentrum
General Terms and conditions Kraamcentrum
Kraamcentrum applies the Algemene voorwaarden voor de geboortezorg van BO Geboortezorg 2018 .
The conditions apply to care agreements concluded by Kraamcentrum. Part of the General Terms is that if you are a client younger than 18 years of age then, despite the fact that you may legally enter into a medical agreement from the age of 16 (WGBO Act), you must have the agreement signed by a legal representative because of the financial guarantee up to the age of 18.
In addition, we apply the following Additional Terms:
Working conditions
Working in maternity care involves great physical strain. Therefore, we ask you to pay attention to the following points:
To avoid back complaints to maternity nurses, midwives or GPs, your bed should have a height of 80 centimetres, measured from the top of the mattress to the floor. This obligation applies during childbirth and the maternity period. If the height of the bed does not meet the requirements, no bedside care will be provided.
You cannot give birth or be cared for on a waterbed. In that case, you will need another bed that can be raised to a proper working height.
Cords, plugs and electrical appliances that the maternity nurse works with must be safe.
The place where the maternity care is given should be easily accessible.
Running water must be available on the floor where the delivery takes place and you spend the maternity period.
According to the Tobacco Act, a maternity assistant is also entitled to a smoke-free workplace. We therefore ask you not to smoke in the presence of the maternity assistant.
Transport costs
The transport costs incurred by the maternity assistant on her way to and from your home are payable by Kraamcentrum. If the maternity assistant also uses her car for the benefit of your family, a set kilometre fee of € 0.27 applies. You pay this allowance directly to the maternity assistant. Your family members can only drive with the maternity assistant if she has passenger insurance. If the maternity assistant uses your car, you yourself are liable for any damage the maternity assistant might cause.
Parking fees
The parking costs incurred by the maternity caregiver will be your responsibility. If there is paid parking in your area, try to obtain a parking permit or exemption from your municipality.
Use of keys
You are responsible for handing over keys to the maternity assistant. Maternity centre cannot be held liable for any loss or theft.
Liability
Kraamcentrum accepts no liability for damage unless there is fault or gross negligence. In case an employee causes material damage, an excess of €250 per event applies. You should report the damage immediately to our organisation. (You must keep the damaged material for possible expertise).
Apprentices
Kraamcentrum is a recognised training company, which means that care can be provided by a maternity assistant in training. Under expert supervision, the trainee maternity nurse will practise her profession.
Cancelling
The cancellation of care, as described in BO Geboortezorg's General Terms and Conditions of Birth Care 2018 article 20, entails a cancellation fee. This amount has a size of €150.00 and will be charged to the client.
